Argentina - A relic of Saint Artemides Zatti in Buenos Aires Cathedral
Buenos Aires, Argentina - November 2025 - On Sunday, 9 November, as part of the Jubilee of the World of Work, the organisation of Catholic Workers' Circles (FCCO, in Spanish), delivered a relic of St Artemides Zatti to Buenos Aires Cathedral. As a symbolic gesture the relic was accompanied by a special White Guard made up of nurses in honour of the vocation that animated Artemides Zatti throughout his life. An image of the saint used during his canonisation was also handed over during the celebration, reinforcing the link between the figure of Zatti, Patagonia and the history of Catholic Workers' Circles. A new relic will be delivered to the FCCO headquarters on 28 November. The presence of the relic of St Artemides Zatti is an invitation to continue the work of the saint, promoting human dignity and accompaniment in difficult times, with a vocation of service inspired by the gospel.
